Not to say that all work was going on at all times at the school, on occasional football match broke out or How many students could pile on and take down a Sailor would happen. In both the days combined 12 hours of work were completed by 24 Sammy BH sailors, 4 Honduran Sailors and 6 students. Over 400 pounds of project Handclasp materials were handed out, four classrooms! one school painted and lots of friendshipls made. The presentation of the school and materials were witnessed by the US Ambassador to Honduras, the Mayor of Roatan and several City employees and Government Officials. Sammy MB would also like to thank LCDR Joe Curtain CUSMILGRP Honduras Navy Section Chiefj in his direct support of this project being such a success and making this a memorable event for all involved. Finally, we would like to thank all the parents and teachers for there dedication to there students and there community. USS Samuel B.
