Corllarid handed lhe -Senecas IO-I and 6-2 deleals, and llh- aca won a hard-loughl 4-3 game on only lwo hils belore Sampson could break inlo lhe win column. Againsl l-larlwick, Sampson power and clulch- pilching proved ils superiorily as lhe home leam squeezed lhrough lo a I2-II win. Four runs in a lasl-dilch ninlh-inning rally proved lhe dillerence.
