At Sammamish, youths' standards for excellence are high. Those stu- dents with the highest scholarship, leadership, and service records are eligible for membership in the Na- tional Honor Society. Although NHS membership is hon- orary, members are not allowed to rest on their laurels. They continue to serve the school in many ways, one of which is in providing tutor- ing services. The NHS pin must be earned by outstanding scholarship and school citizenship and is kept only by continued effort. Thus Hon- or Society works to promote civic and academic excellence in youth- What should we write in our ephemeris today?
