Chuck Kuhn - Editor Carol McCourt- Assistant Editor ANNUAL ACCENT9 YOUTH This year's THUNDERBIRD is unique, progressive, and full of the essence of youth. Like youth, the THUNDERBIRD is dramatic and bold, it is about and by the young people of today. Guided by their advisor Miss Joyce Cole, and receiving expert photographic assist- ance from Mr. Bill Brant of Brant's Photographic Studio in Bellevue, the nineteen students on the THUNDERBIRD staff planned and Worked throughout the year. They attended the annual American Yearbook Conference in August of T962 and also the Yearbook Cover Display at the Edmond Meany Hotel in Seattle. There, with other yearbook staffs, they compared techiniques and exchanged ideas that were valuable in choosing this year's theme and layouts. An original theme and competent guidance made possible, we feel, a yearbook for T963 worth keeping long and reading often.
