' - ' A Chocolates, footballs, and roses were important parts of the junior year for the Class of '64, They gave the year variety, good times, and many memories. In November the junior girls challenged the senior girls to a flag football game. In borrowed jerseys and cheered by vivacious male cheerleaders, the junior girls emerged vic- toriously with a T3-O win over the seniors. The Junior Class followed this with a clean-up of the stadium and football field the next day. During the week before Thanksgiving the class showed its generosity and thoughtfulness by contributing to the canned food drive to help less fortunate families, and won the con- test by bringing the most food. HM, In December the Junior Class candy sale was launched. Selling fine chocolates in the school and community, the class made enough money to purchase a permanent foot- ball scoreboard for our stadium. The event toward which most Junior Class work, anxiety, and hopes were directed, however, was the Junior Prom. This year the theme was That Touch of Spring. Featuring music by the Exotics, and entertainment for the chaperones by students a la Birdland, the Prom topped a year of suc- cess and enjoyment.
