The Junior Class is often the for- gotten man on the Totem pole in high school, overshadowed by the top men in the Senior Class. This year, however, the talent and spirit of The juniors has made This class outstanding. Headed by Mr. Andy Logozzo, Junior Class counselor and its four ofhcersz Mike Gardiner, president, Dan Stearns, vice-president, Joan Feasley, secretary, and Dave Cook, Treasurer, The class of T963 enjoyed a year Hlled with a variety of class projects and activities. The Junior Class's school spirit and enthusiasm brightly shone next to The other classes during pep week. Its spirit again came Through when students sold black and red pep buttons to promote more school spirit during The football season. Sammamish's own Telephone direc- tory, The Tom Tom, was produced by The Junior Class under The di- rection of its projects chairmen, Gail Beckwith and Carlyn Koch. The sale was very successful again This year for juniors who also pro- duced This helpful directory in Their freshmen and sophomore years aT Sammamish. Of course, The biggest highlight for the juniors this year was their suc- cessful junior prom, Quiet Village, ' held in early November with music by the College Jazz Quartet. The newly formed Junior Ensemble group also provided additional en- tertainment for the semi-formal dance by singing Heather on The Hill and Sentimental Journey.
