Yeech!!.... the typical student reaction. Nevertheless, Dr. Jerry Barrett has done much to counter such a negative at- titude. His students know that he has the . unusual ability to communicate seemingly difficult concepts by using an endless array of jokes, comparisons, and wit- ty stories. His good sense of humor and quick smile have gained for him wide accep- tance and true friendship among students as well as faculty. During his years as premed advisor, Dr. Barrett has given sustained con- scientious effort to make the Samford premedical program one of the best and in his dual role as counselor he has shown Christian leadership. For these reasons, the 1976 ENTRE NOUS is proudly dedicated to Doctor Jerry Barrett. 1:76; 2 _i a MY COUNTRY TIS OF THEE, SWEET LAND OF LIBERTY Bi ' L-c 1 ?
