The duties of a college president are many and varied. Presi- dent Leslie S. Wright not only shares the burdens of most college presidents but has the added responsibility of builder. Since his coming to Howard in 1959 the college has taken on the 532,500,000 Program for the Sixties. Dr. Wright through his many speaking engagements and community leadership projects has been an instrumental force in the establishment of this progressive program. His duties are not only those of administrative and business mat- tersg for he is also the official Howard smile guiding all who come in contact with him to the expanding Lake Shore campus of How- ard College.
