Everywhere ears suffered the tortures of music students' practicing, with only a moment's ease when accomplishment was attained and a concert was heard. Where is the pride of Summer, - the green prime, - The many, many leaves all twinkling? - three On the mossed elm, three on the naked lime Trembling, - and one upon the old oak tree! -Hood Through the goodness of a trustee of the College, W. Clarence Gardner, hundreds ot live water oaks were set out. Closely following were planted magnolias and conifers.
