! l N D E A N O F W O M E N y MRS. MARGARET SIZEMORE Mrs. Sizemore has the title Dean ot Women, but her ottice is the center of almost every campus activity. She advises the Pan - Hellenic Council, keeps the school so- cial calendar and willingly performs many other duties which are supposedly not her responsibility. Besides this, Mrs. Sizemore is a very active member at many organiza- tion s including American Association of University VVomen. Her 'advice to the love- lorn,' both boys and girls, and her genial smile make many ot the problems ol the stu- dents disappear the minute they step into her door. Her hobby is collecting the love which the students freely give to her and one ot the saddest moments in the lite of the senior is the final 'good-bye' N to Mrs. Sizemore. D .. f' 7 . z . CRAIG WARD Mrs. Craig Ward, Assistant Dean of Women, has in her one year at Howard become a real mother away from home for all the dormitory girls. She manages to be cheerful while going about the never- ending task of seeing that all her girls are well-fed, healthy, studying and getting at least a small amount of sleep. Add to these tasks the one all-important one of keeping them happy, and you have a full- time iob which Mrs. Ward manages with one hand, keeping the other hand free to offer in assistance to anyone who needs her.
