TIIE MAIN IllJIlIlINli CADEMIC HALL, or 'iMain Build- ing, was erected in 1889, and is the center of activities on the campus, as well as being the central building of the college group. It is an edifice rich in tradition, holding myriad memories dear to the hearts of those who have passed through its corridors.

lllf SCIENCE llflll N TI-IE spring of 1922, a Science Hall was erected to house the chemistry, physics, and biology departments. In 1933 this building was enlarged, remodeled, and brick veneered to accommodate, in addition to the chemistry, phy- sics, and biology departments, the new school of pharmacy. Conceived in time of stress, erected despite discouragement, this modern building stands, a tangible proof of the value of vision, a monument to untiring effort.
