Mrs. McCaffety sells a patch to Cary Miller CL UB HONORS SR STUDENTS Mrs. Genevieve McCaffety, sponosor of National Honor Society, announced the schedule of the 1978-79 year. On October 24, recipients of the Academic Excellence award were presented with a pin or a sweater for their grades from the preceding year. ln the month of December, they baked cakes for the In- teract Club and needy families. ln the blood drive, they challenged other organizations and students to give blood. The new members were pinned with blue and yellow ribbons and were inducted April 24. Anna Augustine drools over a passing hunk. DELTA VOTES ON SPOTLIGHT This club is an organized group of junior girls, headed by Mrs. Westwood. Football season encouraged many members to participate in skits per- formed at the LaPorte and Clear Creek pep rallies. During Go Bananas week, Tri-Delta won the spirit award. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, food, clothing and toys were donated to needy families. Members voted on spotlight and Teresa Ulrey received Scarlet , and Pat Mire as Beau .
