Sixty-six girls were nominated from all senior homerooms and various organizations. At the prelimin- ary judging held on December i 10, twenty-two irls were selected for the fina? pageant. A Valentines Day theme domi- nated the pageant as the girls sang Let me call you Sweetheart. A sweetheart her- self, lenny Blank, who exhibited ' her friendliness and co-opera- tion throughout the week of the rehearsals was chosen for Miss - Congeniality by the contestants. The Mime Troup, the Choir, and e the Emcee Greg Meyer kept the - audience occupied while the judges reached their decisions. L j The judges narrowed the twen- j ty-two semi-finalists to ten T , Pe Y P. qulte a task for the judges.
