GIRL TRACK BREAK RECORD The girls track team set six new school records this year. Leading the record setters was Shawna Morman in the 100, 440 relay and the 880 relay. The relay records were reset by the foursome of lean Braden, Shawna Morman, Kristen Spence and Susan Willis. Teri Mitchell was involved in 2 new records. Teri, a senior set the high jump at 5'2 and 3l4 and tied the 80 yd. hurdles with loy Brown. Natalie Sloane lowered her own half mile record by three seconds to 2.285. The team had a successful season placing consistently in the top 6 teams. The highest overall placing was 2nd at Baytown and 3rd at Nig Brown. Regional qualifiers from Rayburn were lean Braden, Shawna Morman, Kristen Spence, and Susan Willis in the 440 Relay and Teri Mitchell in the High lump. l.V. members were: Rebecca Speer, Robin Teller, Diane Lowery, Pam Bedenbaugh, Kerry Coman, Mellissa Boone, lulie Hines, Tamie Tollette.
