They defeated Sparpstown and Conroe McMullough, but were beaten by Baytown Sterling. Their ex- plosive offense averaged 23.6 points per game while their defense gave up only 6.5 points per game. That was good enough to give them a 9 win, 1 loss record. The sophomores had a 5 win, 5 loss record. They defeated Strat- ford, Clear Lake, Deer Park, Dobie, and Clear Creek. The Freshmen Blue ended the season with a 7 win, 2 loss, and 1 tie record. The Texans beat Stratford, Baytown, Sterling, and Memorial. ln district play, they beat Clear Lake, Dobie, Clear Creek, and Pasadena. They also tied Deer Park. The Freshman White had an ex- cellent season. They won ten straight with 7 ofthem shut-outs. Their amazing offense averaged 37.4 points per game. The massive defense gave up only 2 points per game. They had scores like 70-0, 55-0, and 41-O. They had a great season. Soph. Randy Colden falls from the blue sky. Sophs. Eric Glass No. 63 and Steve Brown No. 70 tackle the opponents while joey Massey No. 72 watches. 20
