Their quick, hard defensive ends were led by Kirk Freytag, jerry Kendell, and Troy Stockdale. Mike Sills handled the noseguard position. The big, mean, and ugly tackles were Steve Pratt, Mark Barker, lulius Sloterdi- jk, and Steve Becker, The head-cracking linebacker crew was led by Tommy Mc- Clintock, Danny Niederhofer, Keith Williamson, Dennis Redd, The graceful ball stealing secondary had field days picking off quarterbacks passes.
