D. are involved in many outside ac- tivities. Dr. Meyer is in charge of all the schools but he has sufficient charge of their divisions and are responsible for seeing that the jobs they have are fullfilled to the best of their ability. The Board of Trustees in- cludes seven members. The members serve the school District without pay and are elected by the registered voters within the district boundaries. The Board members have special responsibilities including the establish- ment of operating policies for the district and the supervision of the im- plementation of those policies. The Board is capable of approving person- nel selections overall educational programs and books and materials used in classes. These jobs that they hold take plenty of outside work to keep the Pasadena Independent School District among the top schools in the area and in the top ten in Texas. de amount of help from the Assistant Superintendents.
