This very important club has as its main pur- pose the obiect of promoting the moral stand- ards ot the students at Sam Houston along with the obiect of creating a feeling fellowship among the students. Their activities include the weekly meetings at which notable religious leaders in the Sam Houston area speak, the preparation ot Christ- mas baskets tor the needy, and the annual Christ- mas party. Distributive Education is a Training pro- gram designed to improve the iob per- formance of student-trainees engaged in the distribution of goods or services. This part-time occupational training program enables the students to gain valuable work experience plus related classroom instruction. It is a modified apprentice- ship program offering vocational training and aiding in the growth and develop- ment of the student's personal, social, and business senses.
