GIRLS' SPORTS rl-he girls' physical education classes, conducted at the Y. W. C. A., were taught hy Miss Marjorie Wiggins and Miss Elizabeth Moxleyxwith Miss Dorothy Bollard assisting at the Health Education periods which were held once each weelc. volley hall was given a great deal ot consideration hy the girls. The lirst six weelcs a study ot the fundamentals of the game was made and the regularkgames hegan the second six weelcs. Alter the study of hadminton and archery, which completed the second six weelcs, activities. haslcethall and hasliethall techniques were talcen up. This sport was welcomed hy the girls with laeen interest and played a large part in the activities of the classes the third and fourth six weelcs. The fourth six weelcs hegan a study of tolli dancing hy the sophomores and hall-room dancing hy the seniors, after which hegan the swimming instructions. Swimming and diving classes were taught three times 'each weelc. These instructions were greeted with much enthusiasm and proved to he of a considerable henetit to the girls receiving them. Q, A Those girls who did not talce swimming played soccer hall in the gym while swim- ming classes were heing conducted. I N
