n Quick Operemz The production of Tulip Time by the combined Glee Clubs assisted by the Sam Houston Orchestra was a decided success. This was given April I8 at the Stonewall Jackson Junior High Auditorium and April 19th at the James S. Hogg Junior High Auditorium. Nor was the Operetta an achievement by the Music Department alone. The artistic stage settings, colorful costumes, and beautiful lighting effects were all contributed by other departments. The stage settings were designed and con- structed by Mr. George Snider. They were then painted by the Art classes under the direction of Miss Hagen. The costumes were planned by Mrs. MacKay's clothing classes. The Science Club sponsored by Miss Hicks had charge of the stage lighting both nights of the production. asses Q 35395
