What you decide about going to college...learning a trade...these decisions are going to strongly in- fluence your life work. Not only that...what you decide to do with your life is also going to determine the future of your country...of the city and the county and state where you live. The kind of citizen you become is going to point the way to the kind of environment in which you will live and raise your family. So think and plan carefully. Whatever you decide, remember that your choice is your in- vestment in the future. The lifetime dividends returned to you are going to be proportionate to that investment you have made. Most editors try to be philosophical in summing up the year's effort, and we feel the same way. But through our day-to-day crisis, we have come to the realization that: 1. ) No one really cares what an editor thinks. 2. ) Nobody ever reads what an editor writes anyway. We should like to thank those people who have worked to make this yearbook happen . . . Our fellow staffers — for without their advice and help, we could have gotten the job done a lot sooner. Our photographers — though we've had to put up with lost negatives, ruined pictures, and darkroom pin up girls, you’ve had to deal with an unrelenting and demanding staff. And our advisor, Mrs. Mahan — her words of encouragement will forever ring in our ears. We hope that 20 years from now we will be able to look back and say it was all worthwhile because . . . WE MADE IT HAPPEN! 304 Closing Page by Kristy Kosub
