Sam Sees Scores of Scary Spooks is 3 f f'sf,..i . . . and Student Congress presented the movie The Haunted Palace on Nov. 28 to begin festivities. Halloween fell on pep rally day so spookin' came early for Texans. The next morning exposed the weird in students and teachers who dressed up for the third annual costume day. Disguises judged during lunch determined Brad Cline, Kim Kerley, Mun Jones, Peter Cartsunis, Scott Kendall, and Shiro Kano as winners . . . . . . and the dances were alit- tle of both, country and disco. The music for the dances was supplied by disc jockeys who played a wide variety of songs. One of the dances sponsored by Student Congress had the theme of Bud's Place. The atmosphere was that of a saloon, and pizza and cokes were served. The dance con- tests were for groovin' and kic- kin'. Door prizes were also a part of the activities . . . CCJ Students wait in anticipation for the dance contest winners to be announced. QDJ Pizza and cokes refresh tired dancers.
