4'-Inf wahwiafvf 15: Besides producing a yearbook, annual staff members had other work to do as a group. These extra jobs meant anything from selling advertisements to package plans. Other duties the 16 members performed were setting up pictures, meeting deadlines, and attending workshops. The staff traveled to two workshops during the year. On December 7, they participated at a workshop held in Denton at TWU. Again, on March 29, the members went to TCU in Fort Worth for an advertising seminar. The Cherokee was updated in many aspects for the first time. The overall layout design was changed and modernized. Also used was the technique of bleeding more pictures off the pages. A faculty index has been included and the ads reverted back to their own section. Other changes included a larger opening section and a smaller, more modern type set. All changes were made to improve the quality of the yearbook, keeping it from looking the same continually year after year. QAJ Editor Karen Jones views different layout ideas. QBJ Mike Marvin and Nancy Bresnahan plan a poster party layout. QCD Another deadline? asks Gaile Ozment. QDJ But you weren't supposed to take my picture! exclaims Amy Carpenter. 51 B DNA .FY 27
