FROSH FOOTBALL Frosh Learn Fundamentals The 1972 Baby Bruins faced the task of learning the fundamentals of the game. Forty prospective gridders turned out at the beginning of the season and began the long process of developing a top notch football pro- gram for future years. The season highlights included the bruising runs of jim Pitts, Mike Murphys' passes, hard hitting by Mike Simon, Carey Overton, Brock Stenson, Dick Ellis and Mark Christian. Most improved was Mike Fitz. Most inspirational was Mike Simon. The players and coaches worked hard together and had a successful football experience.
