LETTERMENS, CLUB B.A . D. Lettermen The Barlow Athletic Department Let- termen did their usual outstanding services during the year. Along with two of the best dances of the year, new prospective members of the club were initiated, thanks to the abun- dantly original efforts of veteran lettermen. To become a letterman in good standing, the initiate must pass a frigid test of mind over matter in a whirlpool full of ice cubes and a bathroom full of bananas. A demon- stration of strength must also be demonstrated by the ability to ac- complish an isometric sit-up and to improvise new and different methods by which to transport an olive.
