GIRLS GOLF Girls' Finish Even Season Although rain canceled a few match- es, the Bruin Girls Golf Squad finished their season quite well. They ended their season with an even number of wins to losses. The highlight of the girls season was the 10-0 win against Centennial. In state competition, at Glendover, the team finished tenth place with a total score of 311 strokes. Coaches Sam Kennedy awarded five varsity letters to members Kathy Kennedy, Kim Stamm, Diane Stanley, Mary Ellen Thomas and Rose Thompson. Kathy Kennedy uses precise aiming to chip on the green. Rose Thompson puts power into her swing. INTERMURALS Barlow Ojfers New Sport. This is the first year that Barlow has had a volleyball team. They were organized late in the year, but they did manage to play seven different schools. Both JV and Valsi- ty teams practiced almost every night after school, and enjoyed it. In gymnastics, thirty five girls signed up for this years program, but with practices at 6: 30 A.M. , fourteen competed and practiced. The sea- son will be changed to fall for the 1973 year.
