Provides Challenges The Future Farmers of America represents by far the larg- Agriculture classes totaling 121 students. Action and doing are regular goals of the organization which presents mem- bers with a means to develop abilities in leadership, co- operation and citizenship. F.F.A. members had the opportunity to compete with other chapters in some of the classroom subject areas as well as varied club extra curricular activities. Among these were parliamentary teams, public speaking, livestock and dairy judging teams, shop skills contests, farm mechanics con- tests, Parent and Son Banquets, picnics at Blue Lake, Soils Judging teams, Forestry skills and Horticulture Skills con- tests, exhibiting livestock, crops and shops projects at Coun- ty and State Fairs, recreation nights, F.F.A. basketball teams, leadership conferences, and State and National con- ventions.
