Choir cert OI'1 C ow Sing We ll This Da ! What is blue, has more than one head, and can knock you over with one breath? The Sam Barlow Concert Choir. Concert Choir worked very hard during the 1970-71 academic year and was able to achieve number one place at the Wilco League Festival in April. Their goal was to be able to trek up to Victoria, B.C. To do this they had to raise 51400, which they accomplished through Music Series Ticket Sales, brownie sales, and the annual Spaget- together. Miss Karen Shrout, a music student at Warner Pacific College, was priv- ileged to student teach the Freshman Glee and Mixed Chorus during April and May. It proved to be a rewarding experience for both parties. The Freshman Glee, in order to be- come more familiar with music read- ing, learned to play recorders.
