Team Turns On The most obvious new feature of this year's track season was the construction of the new all weather track. For the lirst time, track meets could be held at Barlow. Coaches Don 'HM 'M Aaberg, Tony Cutsforth, and Mike DeBois did a greatjob of sa looking after this year's track and field efforts. This is the proof of Coach Don Aaberg's track theorum: The number of team victories is directly proportional to the size of the t track squad. On the more optomistic side, let it be said that Bruin Track Men broke six records, and presented several honors: Team BA lrlilll , Q i Captainship to Dave Diebel and Tony Sperb, who also was , named most inspirationalg Most Improved Athelete on the 3 , , Varsity level-Larry Stanleyg and Most Improved Athlete ff on the J.V. level-Martin Keller.
