J Vers Boast Best Record Barlow's Football team worked all year to produce the best record of all the fall sports teams. Along with their even win-loss record, they brought the season to a memorable close with two hard fought ties and a rough and tumble bout with Centennial. One of the tie games was with second place Gresham, and the other with undefeated Rey- nolds. Rle Nichols indicated that there appeared to be Lots of active participation by everyone, including players without freshman experience. He also said that The team had an improved season. The Coach singled out some outstanding players, including Randy Emery, Matt Jessen, Arne Kindred Scott Lutz, Larry Stanley, and Sam Winner. l.
