International Week Foreign Food Fair Highlights Week Once upon a time, in the corridors of Sam Bar- low High, hearts were stirred amid shouts ofjoy as a transformation took place. The foreign foods de- lighted the taste buds of manya fun-loving Bruin as they wandered through a culinary wonderland. The most famous foreign food finger lickers of all, Margaret Chipula and Akina Salle, graced the Mi- cronesian booth with their presence. Magical highland dancers from far away Goose Hollow's Caledonian Cultural Society and Naslada from distant regions of Reed College mystified their audience with their merry dance. Until this world of fantasy comes again next year, Bruins will remain in a beautiful day dream, await- ing with eager hearts the return of the dainty foreign food finger lickers. l. Margaret Chipula and Akina Salle display the fine art of fry- ing bananas. 2. Dancers from Goose Hollow entertain the com- munity. 3. A Naslada bag pipe player shows offhis talent.
