Wearing their best egg-rolling and wheel chair racing smiles, Jesse Webber and Carol Hughes begin their reign as King and Queen Bruin Power. 5. Senior Anne Shull leads the cheering as eager Bruins await the entrance ol' the football team. 6. Junior Sin Mo Lee participates in a show-down on frontier day. 7. Juniors Ray Chapell and Laurie Doss contribute to the decoration ofthe class of'72's prizeawinning hallway.

ecoming Hom It Was Splendid! ...and suddenly the mighty Bruins came out of hibernation. Spirit and en- thusiasm filled the halls, classrooms, and the entire school. Everyone came together and aimed a striving student body towards victory, success and a lasting recognition. They achieved their goal within five days... Hat Day, Flower Day, Pioneer Day, Masquerade Day and the traditional Blue and Gold Day. The days turned to nights, with a hootenanny for those desiring to perform, a pizza feed, an alumni get to- gether and a car caravan to Centennial's field where the Bruins accepted defeat at the claws of the Eagles. A highlight of the week was Barlow's first Homecoming court, presented un- der much dignity and splender and al- lowing five girls, Queen Cathy Coffey, and princesses Sally Richardson, Mi- chelle McWilliams, Donna Nettleton and Kathy Case, to reign over half-time ac- tivities.
