Every day of every year it is fitting and proper to pay a tribute of love and gratitude to our beloved Bishop, but in this tenth year of his Consecration as our Shep- herd it is a special privilege to honor and extol him. Therefo re, we, the students of Salve Regina College, proudly say to him through the pages of our Regina Maris: We salute you, Most Reverend Bishop, as a true Prince of Holy Mother Church, a zealous Apostle, a kind and generous Father, a true imitator of Christ your Model in the care of the lambs and the sheep of your flock. We congratulate you on your holy achievements during the ten short years of your Episcopacy. The poor, the sick, the aged; children, youth, leaders, priests, religious, laity— all have been the recipients of your prayers, your zeal, your gen- erosity in the great crusade of bringing souls to Christ. We, the Class of 1958, speak not only for ourselves, but also for all the students of Salve Regina College when we say to you— We felicitate you, Most Rev- erend Bishop on this your tenth anniversary.
