The classroom work opened to us new avenues of thinking and threw light on subjects that before were distant to us. Our knowledge of the Bread of Life, with its truths on which we build our lives, has been extended. Our Doctrines have been explained thoroughly. We were shown how to administer social aid to others. We were shown the workings of The Salvation Army from its beginning and how it has grown in its various phases through its many years of service. We learned how to keep the corps hooks. There was also a class on HHOW to Study and Like Itf' which proved to be very helpful and interesting. Sermon preparation, sermon auditing, sermon delivery, planning and conducting meetings, open-air work, and personal evangelism have equipped us to further extend God's kingdom. These training days have proved to us that experience is one of the best teachers. What the future holds for us as officers cannot be fully known, but we do know that each day will present new challenges and opportunities to use the knowledge that We have gained at The School for Officers' Training. p .,. it Y l .
