MATH Math gives us the design of a greater capacity for living. If each of us learns well this lesson it will open the door to its many secrets. As we leave school and enter a world fullof the unknown we must grasp every particle of knowledge and unite it with what we have learned. If we have learned well, we have a beginning. IRMA BROOKS

if HOME ECONOMICS In Home Economics pupils leam through doing and emphasis is placed on homemaking through courses in cooking, sewing, health, and home management. It has been taken for granted that youth would leamwithout instruction many of the commonplaces of living. Experience and observation have shown that many pupils fail to do well the things they must do every day. Training them to do better the im- portant things they are now doing or going to do is effective education. Our Home Economics groups leam the basic ideals of the every day home and family living which ar m building a stronger world where we can live in peace and happiness.
