After imbibing freely of the delicious Princess hors d ' oeuvres, everyone gathered around for speeches and the pre- sentation of the gift, an Apple Computer complete with acces- sories and desk. ' Thank you ' Unpacking the goodies watched by Mrs. Bacon who heroically undertook the choosing, buying and packing on everyone ' s behalf. I got you a good deal on the service contract! MY THANKS TO ALL CONCERNED I am enjoying my computer very much, and each time I switch it on I think of the kindness of the many people who contributed and the thoughtful planning that went into the selection of such a suitable gift. I feel very fortunate to have had such an enjoy- able occupation among most congenial company - the most loyal colleagues, friendly and supportive parents and the heart-warming affection of the chil- dren themselves. To be thanked in this generous manner makes me feel that my efforts were valued. I hope to continue to hear about the activities of my former pupils ( to me they will always be my children although the first ones are now in their thirties), and wish them success in all their endeavours. M.V. Hopkins.
