Dramatic changes have taken place in our environment leading to a greater sense of self discipline and pride. However, we have retained our identity as evidenced through the continuation of such Trojan traditions as the first day assembly, pep rallies, battlecry competition. Homecoming, Senior Night, the Sweater Hop, the Junior-Senior Prom, and finally Commencement. Yes, SHS has changed on the outside. This improvement of school facilities is an important step in the development of our community. But the values of education, leadership, dedication, and school spirit that have been a part of SHS for many years will continue into the future. This heritage remains and flourishes. The beat goes on!
