Dear Students, I have often wondered about my classmates. As 1 sit here in my living room, which adjoins my dentist office, my wife and 1 remember the different fields the class had chosen for their future. 1 have heard from many of them in the past years. Arlene Auen and Jean Hall were working in Jeannette the last time 1 heard from them.GladysTreece and Veronica Kachonik are still famous beauticians at Pierre's” in New York. Buck Rupert was planning to go to California and work; he was tired of snow and rain. Duane Waddle and Sonny Pierce are making pictures for Metro-Goldwyn Mayer. I saw a picture with the two boys playing the leading roles. Very good acting on their part. Jack Cyphert and Joe Calhoun are working in Washington, D.C. as Secret Service men. They have as their secretary the famous Gloria Danesi. They seem to enjoy their work. Leroy Barnett has just become the new owner of K C Motors, which he has built up from a corner garage to a three-block garage. He has as his very pretty and efficient secretary, Mary Ann Shirley. Seems Archie Shrum has been doing well for himself too; he’s head mechanic at the same garage where Connie Stitt is the business executive. I hear from one of my fellow workers that Ronald Naponic has just opened a new dentist office with Vera Coffman as his receptionist and secretary. Jo-Ann Marsh and Janet Ritts are both on the cover of “Glamour” where they are working as models. Bill Whitesel has been doing the art work for the magazine. Seem he’s up for head artist. Doris Bechtel, Bonnie Stine, and June Gosnell are now on the faculty list at Saltsburg High School. Joanne Lynch and Delores Runyan are doing post-graduate work in order to obtain their Ph.D’s. It seems as though Dario Cavacini wasn’t meant for work. His rich uncle finally came through and left himanice little bank roll. He’s now down at the South Sea Islands, while Dino Frassenei is using his Cadillac Convertible to get back to camp. Dino is a Four Star General in this one man’s army. Ginger Grosklos, Jeanne Stone, Connie Valore, and Mary Bortz are living with the men of their lives. Delores Hopkins is going to become one of the happy gang soon. She’s planning her wedding for June. James Troup has just graduated from college and has just started a new factory in Cleveland. Bob Kundla and Bob Orvosh are training to become the two top foreman at the factory. Raymond Oliver writes to say that he is a Forest Ranger in the North Woods. He just came back with the search party who was called out to find the famous movie star, John Derek. Margaret Cindric was home on a 30-day leave from the Women’s Air Force. She stopped at the Pentagon Building on her way back and met some of her schoolmates working there. Seems Marcella Hewitt is giving orders to the women of the armed forces. Mike Moore and Andy Wensconis have just set a new record in flying a jet around the world. They are also in the Air Force. Up for promotion soon. After coming back from the service, Donald Reeger has just started farming his 35,000 acre farm near Saltsburg. Charles and Geraldine Gabrielson have just opened a new super market which covers three blocks. They started with a small country store. Rodney Baker and James Grosklos are working as part owners of Federal Laboratories. Dennie Weik, once a mailman, is in a new television play called, “The Mailman Had Some Trouble. Lois Ashbaugh is at the head of the color department for the Ford Auto Plant in Cleveland. Mary Ellen Murphy is sitting here remembering these things with me. You see she has been my wife since graduation. I’m sure the students from our class have become the greatest class ever to graduate from Saltsburg High School. The ambition to become someone famous has helped them to become successful. Keith Anderson
