Every man should have credit according to his merit. It has been a source of great pride to all living in this community to note the consistent raising of the standards in our schools. Mr. E. M. Johnston, the supervising principal, has set a high standard of life for himself, both scholastically and morally, and soon convinces the pupils in his school that only their very best is good enough. He is deeply interested in school work and has the hearty co-operation of those associated with him in the execution of his well-laid plans. His interest and assistance in the students’ work and his able advice for future plans leads them to understand that the obedience to law which he exacts is for their good.
