James Dell Life would be pleasant for Jimmy if he liked to go to school as well as to hunt squirrels All is fine when he is driving a blue '37 Ford Harold Detwiler nPudH is the handy man of our class and is usually spotted by the teachers when they wish for NService with a smile' Howard Detwiler nSamU wishes to request that his fellow football players learn that his leg is for him to walk on and not to be used as a football He is one exception to the rule, redheads have hot tempers Robert Fleck WBobu lives out on the ridge where the wild turkeys stay and certainly he can' be accused of missing school during hunting sea son He is quiet, charming, and very calm 'Q-r-U' X Wilda Fleck HJeanieN w1th the light brown halr is always in a jocund mood The class is curious to know what she does in leisure hours It must be somethlng special, for she wears her hair in pin curls quite frequently Dorothy Grissinger nDortN is a jolly and care free girl we believe the future holds much in store for her with her abilities Freda Grissinger UBel1eU is a sober hard working girl Her recreation 1S ice skating and a few other things we could ment ion Marian Harter From the eastern part of town comes jolly UDoctor Hartern She is always on hand to sell you refresh ments at a basketball game or to blow that Trumpet Evan Kough USqueeN is the ladies' man who lives on a large dalry farm He lS full of advent ure at the wrong tire H SpSClal1ZGS on the Sllde Trombone George Locke nGeorgeU is one who calls Maddensville hls home H 1S the last of the Locke Family, a loss which Sal tillo will feel greatly 'K E-'35 1' Jackie Mansbarger We think HJack1en can be a professional roller skater if she continues in her pre sent recreation She is one of our bobby soxers who enjoys all sports Carl Marshall nGumpW is a good tackler in football Coming to school is what he does in his spare time and his spare time is limited Margaret McConaughey nS1sN is a very small but brilliant girl It would be a pity if she doesn't use her brilliance in some school after Saltillo Almeda Miller NJiggern is one of those girls who just can't wait until school is out to ful fill her longings Time will reveal the name of the lucky man Isadora Miller HDor1en is our expert clarinetist Her plan for the future is to study to be a music teacher W wish her great success A Richard Miller NDickN is one of our farm ers who seldom takes any books home He is a big tease with an abundance of life and pep 5 3 1 fb Kenneth Nonemaker NKennyN, who acted an excel- lent part in the Senior Play brought many laughs to all. Because of his absence from school, he was lucky enough to take the semester tests. Peggy Park Peggy is quiet and strives hard during school hours. She is ver considerate 1 Y n work and play with all her classmates. Nettie Ramsey Nettie, as President of our class,surely gets into deep debates with some of the members of the class when problems arise, she is al ways willing to cooperate Donald Ruby Don is a member of the Student Council we know he is a good boy when the teach ers are out One of the things he likes to do most is to annoy the girls Jean Shiffer Jean is one of our Trio due to havlng a beautiful voice She lS one of the pairs of sisters in the Sen lor Class and is included in almost ev ry form of school activity Mary Louise Shiffer Mary is always ready to greet you with a hapty smile Her bad feelings are kept beneath the sur face Life seems like a gay dream to her f' 'V' ..r,q5g'g fi?
