Sister Catherine Joseph, C.S.J., who was a member of Salpointe's first faculty, died last June T7 T959 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was best known here at Salpointe for her devoted work as librarian By making the library a pleasant place to be and by providing good reading material for all needs she encouraged the students to use it often Before she came to Tucson Sister was librarian at Regina Coeli Academy in San Diego Here at Salpointe she served also as moderator of the Future Nurses Club and the Library Club and as home room teacher Those who knew her were impressed by her quiet beauty It was as though God s serenity shone through her countenance May she rest in peace We also pay tribute to the Reverend Vic tor R Stoner Salpounte High School s first principal There are six Salpointe students whose memory we honor following their deaths Mike Dixon Class Patricia Bonner Class Patricia Ruelas Class SISTSF Caflterlne Joseph C S J Dennis Brewer Class Pamela Fisher Class o 62 'I4 In Memoriam For those who do Thy will, O Lord, hfe IS changed not taken away Preface of the Mass . . . . ll .
