'QL The Most Reverend Daniel -I. Gercke, D. D., LL. D. Bishop of Tucson We pay our deepest respect to Most Reverend Daniel J. Gercke. His wisdom is evident in the accomplishments made during the growth of the Church in the Southwest. It must certainly be a deep satisfaction to him to see the expansion of the Faith throughout the diocese in churches, schools, and finally in the realization of the Regina Cleri Seminary. Not the least of his pride is Salpointe High School where ever growing num- bers now find it possible to receive a complete Catholic education. Truly his is a glorious history of the development of Catholicism in the Tucson diocese. Their Wisdom and Zeal are Guides to Eternity
