POEMS ON THE LOOSE BY MOTHER GOOSE RALPH Armstrong was an athlete, the best in all the town, but JAMES Rogers made him laugh because James is a clown. GARY had a motor scooter that sometimes went putt putt. He pushed it all the way to school because he was a nut. Why do you look like Alley Oop? the Seniors all did cry. Because he never cut his hair, was the quick reply. BILLY Sweetland was the King, ELAINE was his Queen, Homecoming was their Kingdom, but now it's all a dream. We sang and danced the night away until the day was new, but another time has come and we must live it too. Rub a dub dub one man in a tub and who do you think he be? Why it's NORMAN McCauley with his horn-rimmed glasses too shy to cry out Help me. HENRY'S gone, forevermoreg Quoth the Raven, Nevermore. In a lonely shack by the railroad track a little brat was born. Curly black hair was his adorn. Oh! What the heck! You know he was a wreck. His parents expected a baby but instead was born a LUPE. JEWELL Rogers was a happy girly she smiled the day away. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and chased the clouds away. She came to us from California. Now all she dreams of is her George. Yes! This Alumnus she does cherish. With this Alumnus she wants marriage. She's here to stay so let's rejoice! Our Dearest, Dearest Brown-eyed JOYCE VICKIE, Vickie, Vickie Scott. This rhyme is short and has no plot. Tho you are smarter than most men, this verse has stopped at the very end. CARLOS Walker is a joker, to this none can reply, for to call him otherwise would surely be a lie. Senior Will Me fexcuse mej, I, CARLOS WALKER, will my, on second thought maybe I don't, oh, Imight as well, I will my abili ty to gyrate like James Rogers to Joyce Runow. I, VICTORIA SCOTT, once being of sound mind or body, I think, do hereby will thanks and appreciation to all who made it possible for me to graduate. I, LUPE RODRIQUEZ., will my section on the Honor Roll to Tiny Williams and my position in the cafeteria to Bongo Brain. I, NORMAN MC CAULEY, hereby will my brain to be divided between Everett Cowell and Orley Dollar. I, GARY BLAIR, being of unsound mind and body, do hereby will my basketball position to Tiny, and my ability to hate teachers to my little sister, and my ability to empty the trash to Frances Baird. I, JOYCE RUNOW, hereby will my ability to ride a tricycle across stage to anyone who thinks they can do better. I, RALPH ARMSTRONG, hereby will my great football ability to Robin Grumbles and all my troubles to Bill Farr. I, JAMES ROGERS, hereby will my ability to be a clown and goofball to John Rainey and my great ability to play the drums to Randy Michels. I, WILLIAM SWEETLAND, hereby will my great ability to study Physics to Robin Grumbles and my old ragged, torn football jersey to Susie Osmus.
