I will be careful and thrifty, Senior Class of l957-58 V758 brings to a close the public school careers of 85 boys and girls whose sotourn in Sollisaw High School will long be re membered. We were never a group to do things by hall measures. We were either very, very, goodl' or we were horrid , We can only hope that thoseoccasions wtten we were good will so far over- shadow the times when we were bad that the bad will soon be for- gotten. ' During our Sophomore year our officers were Donnie Morgan, president, Hill Chuculate, Vice-President, and Cora Sue Chitwood, Secretary. Our officers during the Junior year were Bill Agent, President, Dean Hunter, Vice-President, and Marcella Flanagan, Secretary, Two events highlighted that year for us the Junior Play, Men are Like Street Cars, and the Junior-Senior Banquet, From Te pees to Towers. Dur class otficers this year have been Leon Tatham, Presi- and insist on doing right. l will not ridicule nor defile the character of another, I will keep my self-respect, and help others to keep theirs. The Seniors have been leaders in the various acttvtties in Sallisaw High School. Gary Denny is President ofthe Student Coun- cil, Cora Sue Chitwood is President of FHA, Jo Ann Bradley is President of the FTA, Max Nimmo is President of FFA, Charles Welch is President of the Band, Margaret McClure and James E. Sutton are Co-editors of the Yearbook, and Faye Rogers is editor of the Sequoyah Chiettarn.
