Student Government Association The Student Government Association is an orga¬ nization that coordinates all activities on campus for the students of the college. This includes not only items of social interest but also academic and cultural matters that involve the students as a whole. This orga¬ nization acts as a liaison between the faculty admin¬ istration and students to provide a means of better coordination and cooperation among all three. While the S.G.A. is the students the Board is the representative of these students and acts on their rec¬ ommendation and i nterests. The S.G.A. becomes fully realized and hence a really worthwhile organization when the students make use of it. The S.G.A. besides providing social activities throughout the year is the only organization on cam¬ pus which deals with the major problems affecting the majority of the students. OFFICERS: SEATED: Janet Kennedy, President; Norma Koening, Secretary. STANDING: Barry Tull, Vice-President, Allan Gorsuch, Soc. Comm. Chairman, Mike Garrick, Treasurer. S.G.A. BOARD: SEATED: Joan Colden, Sandy DuVall, Kathy Pierce. STANDING: Ed Taylor, Bill Parsons, John Van Fossen, Dave Sammons, Rick Biggs.
