Cultural Affairs Committee The Cultural Affairs Committee has as its assignment the planning and execution of a program of cultural activity to supplement the seminal and open-ended cultural program begun in the classroom. What happened in 1964? Dr. Ralph Bunche came; the Opera Troupe from the University of West Virginia appears in LA Traviata; we discussed religion in age of so¬ cial revolution and the dilemma of the Su¬ preme Court and contemporary art and the genetic potential of man and — other sun- dried and important issues. ADVISOR: Miss Stewart The Women’s Dormitory Associations are organized for the expressed pur¬ pose of “promoting harmonious living among the large groups in the dormi¬ tories and furthering the residents’ sense of honor.” Some of their activities include the following: the orientation of the incoming freshmen, an open- house, a variety show, the giving of gifts to needy children at Christmas, and the presentation of teas and coffee hours.
