EVERGREEN 1965 Foreword Perhaps the single most distinctive characteris¬ tic of S.S.C. in 1965 is growth. Growth of the student body, the faculty, and the curriculum has been conspicuous. The ideal of a truly liberal education, with its per¬ fect balance of intellectual, physical, social and moral development, provides the ultimate goal for all growth in a liberal arts college. We of this staff have tried to let this ideal, as all sectors of the college strive toward it, set the tone for the 1965 Evergreen.
