Each new book is started in the spring after the last install¬ ment of the previous book has been sent to the printer. The first deadline for the book is met at the end of the summer. Other deadlines are met as the school year moves along, the final one coming early in March. This last deadline must be met to the hour if the arrival of the com¬ pleted yearbooks is to be insured before the end of the school year. The co-opera¬ tive effort of many people with varied talents is required in this extensive un¬ dertaking to provide an accurate and memorable record of the school year. This year a red and silver sleigh, backed by snow decked trees, provided a throne for the Queen. The dining room dressed in Christmas finery was the scene of this annual dance. Next came the round of tree trimming. The Christmas tree in front of the Men ' s Dormitory was decorated on Saturday night and a party inside followed. On Sunday the dormitory students feasted at a special holiday dinner which was followed by carol¬ ing and the trimming of trees by the various classes. On December 13 the caroling group was welcomed to the home of Dr. and Mrs. Devilbiss for refreshments. Thursday evening brought to a climax the Christmas tradition with the dinner, candlelight¬ ing, chorus concert, and reception. Those with left-over spirit also went caroling early Friday morning.
