w i i ssemoiies kl; The annual Easter assembly, which was presented through the combined efforts of the Physical Education Depart¬ ment, the Music Department, and the Sophanes Players. The tableau had as its theme the life of Christ as chron¬ icled in the Gospel of Luke. Mr. Grant Reynard, painter and lec¬ turer, presented a lecture, Enjoyment of Paintings, Old and New, which was illustrated by some of his own works. I JT Oil s iMi ..V, Dr. Earl T. Willis, Dean of Education, was guest speaker at the annual Honors Day Assembly, a time set aside each year to give special recognition to those students who have made outstanding scholastic achievements or who have been honored with special awards. Dr. Wilbur Devilbiss presided at the assembly. 15
