Four years . . . memories . . . the day the six evergreen trees were dedicated to the six STC’eans who had paid the supreme sacrifice ... It was cold and windy that day, as cold as it was when the ground was broken for the men’s new dormitory three years later . . . our twenty-fifth anniversary year . . . the color guard stood at ease, and we thought and dreamed . . . Above: Lt. John B. May ad¬ dresses a seniors day crowd at the dedication of the six ever¬ greens, April 9, 1948. Right: Dr. J. B.
